How to paint animals in oils

A 5-day workshop with wildlife conservation artist Steve Nayar

Portrait of the artist next to a canvas of an Orangutan

Thursday 20th September – Monday 24th September 2018 (10am – 5pm)

The Pulse Building, Victoria Street, Totnes, TQ9 5EF

£250 (Holding deposit of £50 required by August 15th)

“My current work focuses on the plight of animals facing extinction in the wild. Each large, same-size canvas features the close-up face of an animal staring straight out at the viewer. In effect, I am painting a ‘death row’ of species. They are designed to grab attention, increase awareness and instigate action, before time runs out. I donate a proportion of the proceeds to various conservation organisations that protect the animal painted.”

Steve was a finalist at the 2017 and 2018 Wildlife Artist of the Year Awards.
